According to a new survey led by the Water Quality Association, consumers are more likely to spend money on water filtration systems for their homes post-pandemic. Americans have developed a more positive outlook on water quality, and have come to realize that they may play their own part in their water quality rather than rely on third parties. With people spending more time at home, many of them have begun home improvement projects which include water filtration upgrades. This study also found that there is a significant decrease in the number of people who think that guidelines regarding water quality are not strict enough, and more people believe their water quality is safe. Furthermore, less Americans are consuming water bottles and more Americans are using water softeners. This survey has been helpful in understanding how Americans views on water quality has changed.
